Mom of the Month: Nell Czerok, Owner of Inflated with Elegance LLC
We’re always excited to shine a spotlight on creative, passionate parents who are making an impact in our community. This month, we’re proud to feature Nell Czerok, the owner of Inflated with Elegance LLC.
Tell us a little about yourself and your family.
My name is Nell Czerok. My family and I moved to Upper Saucon in 2017 to be closer to Newark Airport as my husband is based there as a pilot . We have 2 kids. My daughter is 17 and just graduated SLHS. We also have a 14 year old son who will be starting HS in the fall. With my husband being a pilot and myself a former flight attendant, we love to travel. We've taken the kids to several countries to experience other cultures and hope to continue doing so.

What inspired you to start your business?
I've always enjoyed celebrating the special moments in life. Those are memories that can last a lifetime. The little traditions that make my kids feel some extra love. Whether it's filling their room with balloons to wake up to on their birthday or planning a fun sleepover for them and their friends. I want them to look back on their childhood and remember these times. When I saw there was growing popularity with the themed glam sleepovers and intricate balloon art, I thought it would be a great opportunity to provide others with lasting memories.
What does a typical day look like for you as a mom and business owner?
Now that my kids are older, they need less and can help more. My daughter loves to help me prepare for a sleepover by stuffing pillows into themed pillow cases or helping me choose the right finishing touches. Both my kids help me with setting up and breaking down the sleepovers. My son is a huge help with the heavy lifting and running things up and down stairs while my daughter and I make beds. Even my dad is there between sleepovers, helping me clean and sanitize everything and store it away until next time. My whole family has been so helpful and supportive in my business. There are times when my car can't handle all of the balloons or sleepover supplies and my husband and daughter will fill up their cars and be right behind me to help.
What’s been the most rewarding part of running your business?
It has to be the smiles it brings. When I hear how much fun the kids had with their sleepover or how my balloon set up helped transform a space, bringing their vision to life. That's what makes it all worth it.

What challenges have you faced balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship?
Scheduling is probably the biggest challenge. My son is very involved in sports which is very demanding of his time and mine. My husband's travel schedule and my daughter's work as well, makes it difficult for them to help me. However I am extremely fortunate to have a few of my friends be willing to help. There have been many times when my family couldn't help and they've stepped in. They have also done sleepovers setups on their own when I couldn't be there. They have been invaluable in helping me grow this business.
What advice would you give to other moms thinking about starting a business?
Do something you're passionate about. It's not always easy running your own business. That passion helps get you through the tough times. Also having a strong support system is extremely helpful. Having family and friends that help you achieve your goals is something I am so blessed to have.

How do you and your family like to spend time together when you're not working?
We love watching movies together, whether it's at the theater or snuggled on the couch. We also enjoy going to sporting event, like the Iron Pigs or LV Phantoms.
I have personally used Inflated with Elegance for my daughter's 10th birthday, Phillies themed sleepover party, and I can say that she knocked it out of the park!
